November is one of the most exciting month of the year. It is one out of two months that people are looking forward to. It is the month of Thanksgiving, a time to get together with families and go out looking for deals in stores. If shopping isn’t your favorite thing to do, the best way to spend time with your family is to go and watch movies at the theaters. Here, I got a list of ten movies to watch in theaters that are either already out in theaters or are one to two weeks from being released. The list consists of many different genres. ![]() The first movie to start off this list is called “Moonlight”. Moonlight is categories as a drama film and is a rated R movie. The length of the film is around two hours. This movie chronicles a life of a young black man, starting as a child going up to being an adult. The person has to deal with a problematic around Miami. This film takes place in the period of “The War on Drugs” era. The struggle of finding who he was, finding his identity, is told through three chapters of his life. He struggles to find his place in the world while growing up in a rough neighborhood of Miami. ![]() The second movie of the list is ”Allied”. This movie is a Thriller and Drama. The length of the film is a little over two hours and is rated R. The star actors are Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard. The movie is about a story of an intelligence officer, Max Vatan, encounters a French resistance fighter in North Africa behind enemy lines during the the 1942 war. Once they are reunited in London, their relationship is pressured by the war and trust are being tested, government and relationship wise. ![]() “Hawksaw Ridge” is the third film on this list. The film is another story taking place during the second world war. It is a Drama and History film. The movie length is a little over two hours and is a rated R movie. The movie is based on a true story about a conscientious objector Desmond T. Doss, an American soldier. He saved 75 men from Okinawa which is one of the bloodiest battles of the second World War. He believed that war was nothing but killing and brutal experiences. He was the only soldier to fight in the front lines without a weapon. As an Army medic, he single-handedly got injured soldiers to safety from the front lines, putting his own life at risk and braving enemy fire. He was the first conscientious objector to ever win the Congressional Medal of Honor. ![]() The fourth movie on the list is “Doctor Strange”. If you like science fiction type movies or fantasy movies this is the one to see. The scenes and design in the movie is one to witness. The movie is about a brilliant and arrogant surgeon whose career is destroyed. His life restarts as a sorcerer takes him under his wing and trains the surgeon to fight against the evil the world faces. ![]() The fifth movie on the list is “Boo! A Madea Halloween”. If you are familiar with the Madea series, this is one to add to the collection once it is release for purchasing. It is a Horror and Drama genre. The star actor of this film is Tyler Perry, The length of the film is less than two hours and is rated PG-13. When attempting to win approval from her friends, 17 year old Tiffany sneaks out of the house to go to a Halloween party at a fraternity. The fun ends quickly when the police arrives and Madea (Tyler Perry) crash the party. For revenge, the college students decide to get revenge and try to scare Madea with a serie of pranks. she soon finds herself under attack and on the run from an assortment of ghosts, ghouls and zombies on the scariest night of the year. ![]() The sixth movie on the list is “Incarnate”. It is a Horror and Thriller film. The length of the movie is a little over an hour and a half and is PG-13. It is about a scientist who enters the conscious of a boy who is possessed. It is not an exorcism, but similar. He must saved the boy from with powers never seen before by anyone while facing the horrors of his past. ![]() If you are a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, this is one for you to enjoy. The seventh movie on the list is “Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them”. The movie is about two hours. This movie is a Fantasy and Action and is PG-13. The year is 1962, Newt Scamander has just finished a worldwide exploration and documented an amount of magical creatures. When arriving New York for a small pit-stop, he would of been in and out without a problem, if it were not for a No-Maj named Jacob, a misplaced magical suitcase, and the escape of some magical beast. ![]() On the eighth movie on the list, “Arrival” is a Mystery and Science Film. It is rated PG-13 and is two hours long. The movie starts with a Linguistic professor Louis Banks. She leads a team of investigators to the 12 locations where gigantic spaceships reached the Earth surface. As the nations around the world prepare for a global war, Banks, with the help of her crew, must race against time to find a way to communicate with the visitors. She takes a chance that could threaten her life and possibly the human race. ![]() On the ninth spot on the list, “Moana” is a CG rated movie and is about two hours. Its genres are Fantasy and Action. It is an animated movie about a teenager who sails out to prove that she is a master wayfinder and complete her ancestors unfinished quest. During her journey, she meets a demi-god, Maui. Together they travel the open sea while encountering many difficulties. ![]() For the last movie on this list, “Collateral ” is a Drama and Comedy film. It is about an hour and a half long and rated PG-13. Will Smith is the big star f the movie. It is about a successful New York advertising executive goes through a rough time healing after a huge tragedy and has been different since then. His colleagues made plans to confront his sadness the most comforting way they can. Will Smith writes a letter to Love, Time, and Death after questioning life. He gets unexpected answers that connect with one another, showing the even in moments with loses, there is meaning and beauty. Here, is the end of the list of movies to watch during November and early December. Watching movies is a great way to bond with your family.
