She went to an alternative elementary school with only 60 kids in her whole school. When she was young, her parents enrolled her in acting, dancing, and singing classes. Meghan went to a small high school that she loved because everyone would get along and be free of judgement. In high school, she participated in many activities such as acting and drama classes. The summer before Megan's senior year, she fell ill with Mono. Mono (Infectious Mononucleosis) is an infectious illness that can result in extreme fatigue. As a result, she was put on bedrest. While on bedrest, Meghan would stay home all day and be bored until her mom suggested she make YouTube videos. After high school, Meghan moved to college, where she was in a sorority home with two of her best friends. The summer between Meghan’s freshman and sophomore year of college, she was really busy traveling and being involved in different projects for Youtube. Her sophomore year of college everything changed. After being constantly bullied by her roommates, she entered a state of depression and started having panic attacks. Meghan would use YouTube as a medium to channel her anxiety. She says that her YouTube fans have changed her life and that she is eternally grateful for them. Meghan also participates in “Awesomeness TV” where she collabs with other Youtubers and makes skits. Meghan is adored by her fan base, but has also grabbed the attention of many fashion and beauty publications. She has been featured in magazines such as Teen Vogue and Seventeen. What Does Meghan Do?Meghan has two Youtube Channels, both called “Meghan Rienks”, and both created in 2010. Megan has one channel where she uploads beauty ideas, makeup tutorials, life advice, Q&A’s and much more. On her other channel, she uploads weekly vlogs about her daily life. Meghan’s audience consists of teens and young adults. Meghan is always herself and puts a lot of effort into her videos.
