How far will the basketball team go this season? So far the team has a record of 0 wins and 3 losses. That is expected change after this thursday after we get a win against our new rival; the Pinewood panthers. Last time our wolfpack played Pinewood the game ended with a close score of 40 to 59(their win). Recently the wolfpack have experienced a major change in coaching staff including the loss of Mr. Salinski and the addition of Mr.Monagle. Below are responses to questions from actual members of the wolfpack basketball team. How far do you think the basketball team to go this year? What do you think the team does well? What do you think the team needs to work on to get better? What are you expecting on thursday’s game against Pinewood? Do you expect a win? How do you feel about the loss of coach Salinski? How do you feel about the addition of coach Monagle? “I think we have the potential to go far but right now we are still developing as a team. The team gets along well and we all encourage each other even after a mistake. Working on skills individually and communication. I'm excepting everyone to come focussed and ready with all plays in mind and executing them well. If we execute well then yes I expect a win. I feel bad because he was part of our team and family on here at Kipp. I feel pretty good because now we don't just have one person to rely on. -Anthony Phung Point Guard How far do you think the basketball team to go this year? What do you think the team does well? How is the communication between players on and off the court? What do you think the team does to maintain that good communication? What do you think the team needs to work on to get better? How do you feel about the loss of coach Salinski? How do you feel about Mr.Monagle being added to our team’s coaching staff? “I think we can go far if we practice hard enough. The team’s skill level is great and everyone has there own skill set that used differently on the court. Conmunication is great no one hates eachother and everyone gets along. We joke around with each other, we all laugh and a lot of people have known eachfor awhile now. We need to work on execution and communication on the court when performing plays. It's a bit heartbreaking because now I have lost my coach and my teacher. I feel like it will help us get back into the swing of things because he was a coach on varsity and he has good advice to offer us” - Simrat Jolly Center Going into thursday’s game is:
